I have developed many skills that I could never have anticipated attaining in two quarters: public speaking, articulation of thoughts, a foundation of the history of children's education, sense of authority on brain development, an understanding of policy as it pertains to early childhood and a sustained relationship with a community of devoted early childhood advocates. It's more than I could have hoped for.
