  • Production of a finished short film on DVD
  • Opportunity to serve in a lead role (i.e. director, screenwriter or director of photography) and work with an Emmy-award-winning director in the making of six class films
  • Creation of a short screenplay and participation in a pitch session
  • Actor auditions and rehearsals and the development of sets, props, costumes and lighting
  • Hands-on experience using camera, light and sound packages in the UW School of Art + Art History + Design
  • Use of HD, digital video, Mac workstations, Final Cut Pro and other sound and video tools
