Gain the skills necessary to become a certified professional guardian of developmentally disabled adults, elderly individuals with diminished capacity or acquired disabilities, and other adults declared incapacitated by Washington courts. Learn the fundamental tasks and responsibilities of the professional guardian. Understand the rights of incapacitated adults and the laws governing the guardian profession. Develop strategies for communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.

You will learn the duties of a professional guardian for an incapacitated person and fulfill the educational requirement for becoming a CPG in Washington state.
