Localization Project Management

This course introduces students to in-depth concepts of localization project management. Students will learn how to communicate deliverables effectively, collect process and technical information in localization kits that are handed off to production and find out how to create and maintain budgets and schedules for international projects. The course takes into consideration project management best practices applied to software localization projects. Students will learn about communication across multiple time zones, understand who the main stakeholders are in a typical software localization project as well as learn about scheduling challenges & budgeting.
