Mobile Integration, Analytics and Optimization of Games

The emphasis of the final course is on developing a polished game as a capstone project through instrumentation, analysis, iteration and release on Facebook. Students will learn to wrap HTML5 games into a mobile application and to use analytic tools to gain greater understanding of the user experience and user interface.Topics include:

• Packaging an application using cross-platform development tools
• Facebook API integration
• Using analytic libraries and tool packages for game optimization
• Integrating ad network for free to play ad-supported games
• Optimization and polish
