Popular Fiction II: Conflict in Action

Students will explore techniques to deepen character relationships, heighten the stakes of the conflict in the story, and explore layering with subplots. Students will augment their stories with research, creation of symbols, and the deepening of exposition. An introduction to literary agents and query letters will be covered.
