Design and create your own database. Access it online using PHP. Find reliable, systematic and organized ways to store information so that it can be searched, browsed and used to make informed decisions. Learn SQL basics. Create queries. Retrieve data and write data with MySQL. Manage session and cookies. Explore MySQL's storage engines, data types, administration utilities, security features and data import/export facilities.

This is an asynchronously scheduled online course; students start and end the course as a group, but do not adhere to specific class meeting times.
You can enroll in this course on a space available basis even if you are not a certificate student. Please submit the following materials to apply.
You will pay a course fee when you are notified of your eligibility to enroll.
Courses taken when you are not a certificate student don't automatically count toward earning a certificate.
Print, complete and submit an application for single course enrollment (PDF) and the other materials listed above.
We will let you know whether you are accepted or not accepted into the course before the first class session.
