Strategic Planning for Adaptation to Climate Change

This course deals with the strategic planning needed to adapt to and cope with the impacts of climate change. The view of the course material and subjects will be as wide and comprehensive as possible and should not focus solely on one country, socio-economic stratum, or area of adaptation. Students are encouraged to stretch their knowledge and understanding beyond their own areas of immediate experience and expertise. Students are also encouraged to look beyond the “technical” or operational aspects of adaptation and to pay particular attention to issues of equity, governance, transparency, and sustainable development.
