UW on Coursera and edX
The UW has partnered with the online education platforms Coursera and edX to offer a select group of our classes as MOOCs – massive open online courses. These classes are free and available to everyone, no matter where you live or what your background.
Some of these courses start on a set date and run for a specific length of time, while others are available on demand and can be taken at any time. See the specific course listings for more information and instructions.
UW On Canvas Network
Canvas Network is an online course platform that the UW and other higher education institutions use to offer free college classes that anyone can take.
Through Canvas Network, the UW is currently offering short versions of some of the courses in our Integrated Social Sciences
bachelor’s degree program. This uniquely designed, totally online degree completion program features top-notch UW faculty, an interdisciplinary curriculum and innovative use of technology. Check out individual course listings for more details.
