Registration/late fees: All registrants pay a nonrefundable $39 registration fee each quarter ($42 effective for all summer quarter 2012 registrations). A nonrefundable $25 late fee in addition to the registration fee will be charged to students registering on or after the first day of the quarter. Students admitted to UW degree programs also pay this registration fee when they register through UW Professional & Continuing Education.
Additional fees: Some credit courses may have additional fees (i.e. lab fees) charged by departments and billed separately by the University. See "Tuition Statement" on MyUW for fee totals.
Course status change fee: A nonrefundable $20 fee is charged for each course transfer or status change after the first week of the quarter, including single course drops.
Technology fee: The technology fee gives students access to the Internet, World Wide Web, e-mail, computer and multimedia workstations and laboratories, computer software and dial-up telephone service. The fee is refundable on the same basis as tution. All credit students (except those taking credit courses during Summer Quarter) pay a quarterly technology fee based on the number of credits for which they are enrolled. Services and activities (S&A) fee: All UW matriculated (formally admitted, degree-seeking) students, including students in UW Evening Degree programs, pay a quarterly services and activities (S&A) fee. This fee ranges from $24-$152, based on undergraduate or graduate status and the number of credits for which the student is enrolled.
