• Academic Advising
  Academic advisers are available to discuss your undergraduate credit course selections and how these courses may fit with your degree plans if you are a UW student, from another university or if you are taking a course for any other reason. If you want to take more than three online learning courses at once, you must discuss with an academic adviser. Please contact our office at 206-543-6160 or e-mail us at advisers@pce.uw.edu.
  
• Child care

  Information concerning child care, preschool, school-age care, summer care, respite care and more is available from Child Care Resources. Or call 206-461-3207 (Seattle/North King County); 425-865-9350 (East King County); or 253-852-3080 (South King County).
  

• Counseling

  UW Professional & Continuing Education students do not have access to the Counseling Center in Schmitz Hall.

• Food service

  University food service locations accept cash or the Husky card, a convenient debit account any UW student, staff or faculty member can establish with a deposit of as little as $10. You access your account with your Husky card (UW ID card). For more information about the Husky card, call 206-543-7222 or visit hfs.washington.edu/husky_card/ .
  

• Hall Health

  UW Professional & Continuing Education students should check with their insurance provider to see if Hall Health Center services are covered.
  

• Husky Nightwalk

  This program is a free, uniformed guard assistance program available to help students get to desired locations on campus and within a 1-mile radius off-campus. The service is available 6:00 pm – 2:00 am, seven days a week, by calling 206-685-WALK (9255). For more details, please visit the University of Washington Police Department site.

• IMA

  UW Professional & Continuing Education students do not have access to the Intramural Activities Building (IMA).
  

• Language Learning Center
  The Language Learning Center in Denny Hall on the UW campus is open to all students studying foreign languages. The center provides audio, video and computer-assisted language learning programs to support language study during regular academic quarters. • Library access

  Students in UW Professional & Continuing Education programs can check out materials at UW libraries beginning the first day of the quarter for which they are enrolled. If you have a Student ID (Husky card), it serves as your library card. If you have not been issued a Husky card you must obtain a UW borrower card to check out materials.

• Textbooks

  Required textbooks for most UW Professional & Continuing Education courses are located in a UW Extension section in the textbook department on the lower level of the University Book Store, 4326 University Way NE. These texts are shelved by the five-digit course registration number. If you need assistance to locate these books, ask for help at the Textbook Department information counter. Required textbooks for courses held in Bellevue, Bothell, downtown Seattle or Tacoma are available at the respective branch of the University Book Store: Bellevue (425-632-9500), Bothell (425-485-4725), Tacoma (253-272-8080).
