Developing a fact-based understanding of nutrition can help you make better dietary decisions for yourself and others.
In this three-course certificate program, we’ll study how food behaves in our bodies and affects our physical and mental development, longevity and quality of life. You’ll explore the scientific principles related to culinary techniques, food chemistry, nutritional supplements and athletic performance. Gain a solid foundation in the nutritional sciences and learn how specific food choices can have a significant impact on human health.
