About this Program

Cybercrime has become a top national security threat. Hackers and cybercriminals are using a sophisticated array of tactics to steal your data and extort millions from governments, enterprises and public institutions. Responding to and recovering from a cybersecurity incident requires rapid deployment skills and forensic investigation, respectively. Professionals with cybersecurity training are in great demand as businesses develop strategies and processes for keeping their systems safe from the growing threat of cyberattacks.

In this three-course certificate program, you’ll gain a contextual view of the cybersecurity field as you study how professionals apply tools and frameworks at their companies and organizations. You’ll evaluate the costs and benefits of various security approaches. Through immersive learning techniques and simulations that mimic real-world threats, you’ll hone your critical-thinking and curiosity skills that will help your organization develop resilience in the face of cyberattacks. You’ll also develop an extensive network of mentors who work at companies and agencies throughout the cybersecurity field, including the United Nations, the U.S. Department of Justice, the National Security Agency, the FBI and the CIA.
