About this Course


In this course, you will develop electronic information access and communication skills to foster a vision for technology use that facilitates student and professional learning. Your lab experiences will center on information technology systems and strategies for their use. You will explore criteria for the selection of instructional technologies and principles of managing maintenance and use.

You will learn to:

  • Articulate a vision for instructional technology use that facilitates student and professional learning within the school library media program
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the effective use, organization and management of instructional technology tools in a school setting
