About this Course


In this course you will:

  • Acquire ”deeper smarts” in evidence-based theories of people management, teams and leadership; learn to apply this knowledge to improve organization effectiveness in small and large organizations
  • Learn to better understand the strengths and weakness of your personal leadership brand
  • Discover how to match a particular managerial or motivational tactic to a specific work situation
  • Explore the challenges of imperfect information and unknown cultural issues when creating a new team and organizational designs
  • Examine job descriptions that can be used to develop valid selection strategy, compensation plans and appraisals
  • Expand your knowledge of human behavior at the individual, group and organizational levels to improve organizational effectiveness in small and large organizations
  • Gain knowledge of your personal leadership brand, including assets and liabilities
  • Learn to determine appropriate financial incentives to motivate performance
  • Explore the tradeoffs and benefits of reward structures and benefit plans

Program Overview

We offer this program in two formats: an accelerated classroom program that features two courses over five months, and an online program that includes five courses over nine months. Students cannot combine or switch between the two program formats.
