Meet the Instructor
Brian Rosete spent more than a decade as a GIS analyst and cartographer and is currently the supervisor of the Seattle IT GIS products and services unit for the City of Seattle. In his current role, he leads a team of GIS analysts responsible for the production of a wide variety of mapping solutions including digital maps used for presentation, print and online purposes. His team also provides custom symbology standards and base map products for use in applications.
Rosete has more than 10 years of experience teaching classes for GIS applications, serving a customer base of over 300 users. He holds a B.A. from the UW School of Geography with a minor in architecture and has been an instructor for UWPCE since 2012.
