Meet the Instructors
The owner of GrammarWorks since 1987, Tucker specializes in teaching language skills to professionals. She is an international speaker, editor and award-winning writer. Her columns on grammar and usage have appeared in local and regional publications and currently can be found monthly in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association's online magazine, Author. Her novel Hope Chest was published in 2013. Tucker, who holds a B.A. in English from the University of Washington, has extensive experience in advertising, marketing and public relations. Her goal is to fill in the blanks her students may have regarding language usage and punctuation, so that they will not only recognize errors they come across while editing but also have the tools and resources at hand to explain or justify their corrections to clients.
