Meet the Instructor
Chris R Hoffman
Chris Hoffman has been a practicing cloud architect and API developer for more than six years. He has worked in IT, legal and telecommunications industries for more than 20 years and started his career with the U.S. Army. Currently, Hoffman holds a position within Amazon Web Services, where helps customers around the world to design, build, integrate and operate their cloud service infrastrucutre on the AWS platform.
When he's not busy with customers, Hoffman is actively mentoring his fellow cloud support engineers and building internal tools to enhance case work. In his off hours, Hoffman is an active volunteer with local Amateur Radio Emergency Services, where he trains volunteers to provide back-up communications in times of disaster. He also holds a master's in computer science and engineering from Santa Clara University.
