Meet the Instructor
Jack Straub
As a research developer and system analyst, Jack Straub developed communications protocols and applications for Internet activities as well as a wide variety of other applications and facilities. In his more than 35 years in the computer industry, he focused on system-level implementations using a variety of languages and platforms. He helped develop corporate coding standards in PL/I and C and also wrote textbooks on several programming languages, including C. He has been honored for teaching excellence by UW Professional & Continuing Education.
