Meet the Instructor
Jeremy Zaretzky is the cofounder and president of WireSpring, which provides an Internet of Things software platform for designing and deploying networks of smart devices and managing them from the cloud. At WireSpring, he’s launched new products, built and managed strategic customer relationships, and hired and managed teams.
Zaretzky is also a part-time UW instructor and the managing director of the Founder Institute's startup accelerator program in Seattle. Over his career, he’s helped hundreds of students and dozens of startup founders solve problems that they're passionate about by leveraging methodologies such as design thinking, user-centered design and lean startup. He teaches front-end development and design thinking for UW Professional & Continuing Education and design thinking and information architecture at the UW Information School. Zaretzky earned a bachelor's in economics at Duke University.
