Principal & Senior Managing Director, Heartland
Jim Reinhardsen is a principal and senior managing director at Heartland, a real estate advisory services company, and is also one of the company’s founders. He has extensive experience in evaluating, negotiating and structuring complex real estate projects, ventures and transactions, which gives him a uniquely broad perspective as he works with clients and partners to design and implement strategies for projects, portfolios, real estate operating, development and investment platforms across the country and internationally.
Prior to Heartland, Reinhardsen was a real estate, tax and securities attorney in California and Washington. He currently serves on the advisory board and the executive committee of the UW Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies and on the advisory board for the UW Certificate in Commercial Real Estate, a program he taught in for over 25 years. He also serves on the executive committee and board for the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust and the board of Forterra Enterprises. He has his JD from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, in San Francisco.
