Meet the Instructor
Jingyu Li
Over the last 20 years, Jingyu Li has constructed software for medical and consumer electronics that serve millions of users. Working with the complex characteristics, safety-critical requirements and long development cycles that go with these products has taught her to become an advocate for software development best practices. She’s a strong proponent of system modeling in particular, through which requirements can be captured with accuracy, design can be refined to robustness, and the system can be simplified to efficiency.
Recently, Li moved to mobile app development and now works on the Amazon Alexa team. Li has a master’s in computer science from the University of Wisconsin, and she has been constantly learning since then.
