Meet the Instructor

Michelle Yip

Michelle Yip is the Clinical Assistant Professor at Psychosocial and Community Health Department at University of Washington School of Nursing. She works as the statistician in the Managing Your Own Wellness study, which focuses on developing measurement tools and interventions to improve the health and provision of care for persons living with dementia and their family caregivers.

In clinical practice, Yip is the nurse consultant at Chinese Information & Service Center. She has over 15 years of consultant experience in the Washington state in-home care program, serving community-dwelling older adults and their caregivers. Michelle studied nursing and health administration at UW. She has a master's in nursing, master's in health service administration and a doctorate in nursing science with a statistical concentration.
