Randy Hinrichs
Ran Hinrichs is a cybersecurity interactivity engineer. He is the founding partner of 2b3d Studios, a cybersecurity virtual reality educational platform. Since 2009, Ran has held a faculty position in immersive information at UW Information School. He was the executive business manager for advanced strategies and policy in Microsoft’s Executive Office under the chief technology officer. While at Microsoft, Ran helped form the original Trustworthy Computing Initiative. He is also a capability maturity model (CMM) auditor. Ran recently earned the Center for National Security Studies Certification through the UW Center for Information Assurance & Cybersecurity (CIAC).
