Meet the Instructor

Sabet Vallejo

Sabet Vallejo has been an outstanding engineer for more than 20 years and is a registered Professional Engineer both in Washington and Oregon states. She’s excited about the power of engineering in creating simple solutions to complex problems and, over her career, has solved many engineering problems through the use of software development tools. She’s also used programming tools, primarily, to assist with structural seismic and wind analysis on many unique and high-rise projects including Safeco Field and Escala, an award-winning high-rise building downtown Seattle. Previously, while at Tetra-Tech, she worked on the Panama Canal Expansion at the Pacific and Atlantic sites, helping to design the new international Third Set of Locks.

Vallejo is an enthusiastic instructor and has been teaching engineering and .NET classes for more than 10 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Science in Engineering Construction from the University of Washington.
