Student Services & Resources

UW Professional & Continuing Education students have access to many UW and UWPCE services and resources.

Access & accommodations

Your experience in this class is important to us, and it is the policy and practice of the University of Washington to create inclusive and accessible learning environments consistent with federal and state law. The Disability Services Office (DSO) provides accommodation, referral information and assistance for professional and continuing education students with a documented physical, mental or sensory disability.

If you have already established accommodations with DSO, please communicate your approved accommodations to your instructor at your earliest convenience so we can discuss your needs in this course. If you have not yet established services through DSO but have a temporary or permanent disability that requires accommodations (this can include but is not limited to mental health, attention-related learning, vision, hearing, physical or health impacts), you are welcome to contact DSO at 206-543-6450 or dso@uw.edu or via their Contacts page.

Student TECHNOLOGY Access

Technology Tools

Need a laptop, a camera or other equipment for class? Students can reserve equipment through the Student Technology Loan Program. To access, noncredit students need to show a Husky Card and pay a $55 quarterly computer account fee to Registration Services.

UW-IT offers discounted software, collaboration tools and other technical resources for UW students. Some resources may only be available if you’ve paid the technology or computer account fees.

Bandwidth Resources

Access to affordable broadband and reliable technology is key to being able to fully participate in online or hybrid learning experiences. UW Continuum College encourages students who need support to connect with the UW Student Technology Loan Program and the Washington state portal to the federal government’s Affordable Connectivity Program.

TRANSPORTATION & PARKING

Explore options for getting to and around the UW. Transportation Services provides information about transit, biking, parking and more. Noncredit students are not eligible to purchase a U-PASS transit pass. If you're taking a classroom credit course (certificate or standalone) through UW Professional & Continuing Education, you may purchase a U-PASS through Registration Services for $150 per quarter.
