Meet the Instructors
Hamid Razi has been working at the Boeing Company since 1979. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1991, and a master's degree at Texas A&M University in 1982, both in composite materials. He has more than 37 years of experience in the field of composite methods and allowable development. He is a specialist in damage tolerance and failure analysis method development.
Razi has several publications in this field and is currently the Boeing enterprise technical focal for developing analysis methods for BVID, Repair and Honeycomb sandwich structures. He has developed several training courses and is currently teaching UW-Boeing composite certificate classes and several courses. Hamid is leading a TF training team of BCA structural groups and is a certified Boeing instructor.
