Driven by growing demand locally and nationally, the University of Washington recently launched a new offering on the online learning platform edX: the IT Project Management program.
This latest addition to our massive open online courses, or MOOCs, includes a trio of courses that cover the fundamentals of IT project management, giving students a solid foundation to build from going forward in their careers.
Over the course of the program, students learn about the most commonly used project management methods in the IT field, how to align projects with the overall business strategy and how to work with global teams, among other topics.
