About this Program

There are no future offerings of this program scheduled at this time.

In the last few decades, computing technologies have had a transformative effect on science and engineering. Powerful computer-based modeling now enables us to solve mathematical equations that address the fundamental physical and biological laws governing our world. Powerful new sensors are also being used in the observational sciences to detect a wide range of phenomena.

In this three-course certificate program, you’ll learn to use scientific computing tools and technologies to help solve complex problems in the physical, biological and engineering sciences. We’ll examine the latest exploratory and objective data analysis methods, along with the use of predictive analytics techniques. You’ll also get an introduction to major aspects of large-scale scientific computing.

Designed For

Engineering professionals, data scientists and physical and biological scientists interested in computational analysis and modeling.
