About this Course


General Pharmaceutics I and II offer an overview of the key processes and departments that are fundamental to develop products at large and small biopharma companies. In Pharmaceutics I, you’ll gain insight into drug development and delve into current methods for drug discovery, molecular modeling, toxicology, biomarker development, manufacturing and filing an investigational new drug application, including preparing for phase 1 clinical trials.

Prerequisite: Completion of a course in molecular and cellular biology and a course in pathophysiology (undergraduate or graduate coursework in human physiology and biology may be substituted with instructor permission)
