Your experience can be more than a résumé. It can be the foundation for a new kind of career.
Join UW Professional & Continuing Education for a webinar with our expert instructors, Lisa Hufford and Christy M. Johnson, to explore how you can build on what you already know to create greater flexibility, ownership and opportunity. Drawing from their experiences in consulting, entrepreneurship, business ownership and small-business development, Lisa and Christy will discuss the range of paths available to people who want to shape their next chapter.
The conversation will examine how consulting can become a bridge to entrepreneurship, helping you turn expertise into an offer, build client relationships and uncover opportunities for new products, services or businesses. They'll also explore business ownership through acquisition, micro-entrepreneurship and other emerging pathways that are making entrepreneurship more accessible.
Lisa and Christy will discuss how individuals can use AI to research markets, develop ideas and automate routine work, making entrepreneurship more accessible. From independent consulting and fractional work to business ownership and AI-enabled ventures, you’ll see how to leverage your skills and experience to create new professional opportunities.
Part of our Expert Insights webinar series, this hour-long session is a forward-looking conversation for anyone considering a career transition or wondering what else might be possible.
We'll send all registrants a recording of the webinar after the event. Please allow at least three days for it to become available.
