Digital technology has revolutionized how we communicate and connect with information and resources. But, for the growing number of people in our world living with disabilities, it can be difficult to access. Now more than ever, professionals need to understand the big picture of how — and why — to create accessible digital content and ensure equal access to information.

In this short webinar hosted by UW Professional & Continuing Education, Dr. Sheryl Burgstahler will share insights about the challenges some people with disabilities face when trying to access computers, what the Department of Justice’s new rule on the accessibility of web and mobile content means for state and local governments and 10 tips for getting started with digital accessibility.

If you're interested in making web content more accessible to all or landing a job in the field, don't miss this hour-long session.
