Alex Porter

Software Engineer, Honeywell

Alex Porter is a software engineer at Honeywell, where he investigates solutions for alternative navigation solutions in GPS-denied environments. Previously, he was a test engineering software lead for the avionics group of the New Glenn launch vehicle at Blue Origin. His experience also includes electrical, mechanical and software engineering for a high-fidelity training equipment group for the Naval Nuclear Laboratories and six years of service in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear reactor operator onboard submarine. Porter studied electrical engineering at Arizona State University.
