Ariel Glassman Barwick

Founder & CEO, Common Great

Ariel Glassman Barwick is a fundraising strategist and nonprofit leader with more than 22 years of experience advancing mission-driven organizations. As founder and CEO of Common Great, a communications, fundraising and technology consultancy, she’s advised hundreds of nonprofits across four continents, helping them collectively raise more than $100 million.

Her work focuses on designing systematic, equitable donor engagement strategies that strengthen organizational readiness and align strategy, operations and data to drive sustainable growth. She’s partnered with organizations of varied sizes and missions, including human services, arts and culture, advocacy and education. In addition to her consulting practice, she’s taught fundraising and nonprofit strategy for professional associations, funders and universities. She holds a degree in political science and Asian languages from Stanford University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
