Charles Mendelson
AI Applications Engineer
Charles Mendelson is an AI applications engineer who has worked in a broad range of roles, from early stage startups building infrastructure from scratch to century-old operations full of legacy systems. He pivoted from data engineering programming in Python to his current role as a consulting AI applications engineer for a management consulting firm, where he helps design and implement AI systems for clients using Python.
In 2017, has was published in the Harvard Business Review, and since 2020, he's been a contributing writer at Towards Data Science, where he primarily writes articles on structuring and organizing data. In 2022, he was named one of the top 25 data-engineering influencers on LinkedIn by Databand.io. He earned a master's degree in psychology at Harvard University and studied psychometrics at the Harvard Extension School. He also completed the UW Certificate in Python certificate.
