C. Blaise Mitsutama
LMS Administrator & eLearning Instructional Designer, Tombolo Institute at Bellevue College
C. Blaise Mitsutama (“Blaise”) has spent more than 20 years in the field of technical communication, with concentrations in technology, engineering and education. In her current role at the Tombolo Institute at Bellevue College, Mitsutama wears many hats. But the work she loves is devising and designing courses that are accessible and make the effort of learning less daunting.
Mitsutama’s career has followed a non-traditional path from graphic production and design to freelance database developer to a variety of roles at Microsoft, followed by a few years as a risk assessment tech and technical editor at a wet infrastructure engineering firm. She’s currently working on her M.Ed. in learning and technology at Western Governors University.
