Harvey Arnone
GIS & CADD Manager, City of Seattle Information Technology Department
Harvey Arnone has worked at the City of Seattle in various GIS capacities since graduating with a B.A. in geography from the University of Washington in 1992. After managing the GIS and CADD Software Development team for over a decade, Arnone recently assumed the role of GIS & CADD manager, leading the City of Seattle Information Technology department.
The team administers the technology platforms and provides software, services and support to GIS and CADD users involved in a broad array of business functions across the City. These functions include engineering and surveying, planning, permitting, inspections, asset management, work management, public safety, emergency operations and more. An instructor for the UW Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Arnone was honored with a Teaching Excellence Award in 2023.
