Jolie Stekly
Writer, Teacher, Coach
Jolie Stekly has worked with leading experts in the children’s publishing industry for the past 15 years as a writer, as well as to develop programming for writing conferences, classes and retreats. She was recognized as member of the year for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) in 2009 and is a former regional adviser of the SCBWI Western Washington chapter. As a published-and-listed member of the SCBWI, Stekly serves on SCBWI Team Blog and is a member of the faculty, welcoming hundreds of first-time attendees to the organization’s annual summer conference. Stekly is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a master’s in teaching from Seattle University.
