Meet the Instructor
Kristi Coulter
Kristi Coulter is the author of the memoir Nothing Good Can Come from This (MCD Books x FSG Originals, 2018), a 2019 finalist for the Washington State Book Award. Her writing has been published in New York Magazine, The Paris Review, Amazon Original Stories, Glamour, Vox, Alaska Quarterly Review and elsewhere. She has taught creative writing and literature at the University of Michigan and Washtenaw Community College, and for over a decade she has held various executive roles at Amazon. Kristi holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's in literature from New College of Florida. She lives in Seattle with her husband and dogs.
