Meet the Instructors
Kristin Marie Olsen
Kristin Olsen has spent more than 20 years transforming Pacific Northwest companies. She has a variety of strategy and organizational excellence experience in technology, retail, marketing, small business and non-profit. Kristin currently leads the portfolio, program and project management team at Brooks Running. She now leads the primary initiative of supply-chain optimization. This large program contains more than 20 separate projects to modernize the Brooks supply chain for North America. Projects include large technology implementations, the build of a new distributions center, material handling equipment, process definition, the effort to transition to the new DC and several logistics partner changes. The program will allow Brooks to better serve a majority of their customers.
Olsen's previous 10 years targeted delivering technology processes and projects at Nordstrom including their transition from waterfall-based delivery to agile principles and practices. She also led several development and program management teams as Nordstrom transitioned to a next-generation merchandising platform. Olsen has a bachelor's in business from Seattle Pacific University.
