Lara Bradshaw
Communications Consultant
Lara Bradshaw is a communications consultant and an affiliate instructor in the UW Communication Leadership master’s program. Throughout her career, she has worked as a communications strategist and storyteller across the nonprofit and private sectors. Bradshaw is particularly interested in how emerging technologies impact communities amid massive industry changes in media, human rights, technology and higher education.
In 2016, Bradshaw began working with conversational AI video at the University of Southern California Shoah Foundation on the Dimensions in Testimony program, featuring individuals impacted by genocide. Since then, she’s developed program and communication strategies for a variety of companies, including Facebook and Redbox. Most recently, Bradshaw supported product research, content development and marketing efforts for a tech startup's conversational AI video platform launch. She earned her doctorate in cinema and media studies at the University of Southern California.
