Micah O'Halloran
Senior Software Architect, Apple, Inc.
Micah O’Halloran is a senior software architect at Apple, Inc., where he's worked on Siri integration as part of the Apple Media Products team. As a technical leader and software developer for decades, his experience includes working with teams at Amazon, Oracle, and most notably, serving as lead software I/O architect for all product lines at Cray, Inc., a leading supercomputer manufacturer. He's also guided design and development for clustered I/O solutions and technologies at F5 Networks and Sequent Computer Systems.
O'Halloran earned a master's degree in computer engineering and AI from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Well versed in software engineering principles and object-oriented programming, O’Halloran has been using C++ since before its official release.
