Paul Pottorff

President and Co-Founder, Entrant Security

Paul Pottorff has more than 20 years of experience working in information security, consulting, information technology and software development. As president and co-founder of Entrant Security, an information security and compliance consulting firm, he’s responsible for client engagement and acts as a principle consultant on many of the firm’s projects. His work is focused on the implementation of security services, policy and training that’s focused on achieving PCI, FBI CJIS and corporate compliance objectives.

Pottorff is an active contributor to the local security community and is the education board director for the ISSA Puget Sound Chapter. In this role, he’s been organizing and providing boot camps for local professionals seeking security certifications, in particular the ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification. He has a Certificate in Information Security & Risk Management and a master’s in cybersecurity and leadership, both from the University of Washington.
