Pavel Soukenik
Executive Director, Webhelp
Pavel Soukenik is a localization professional with 20 years of experience. He started his career at Ando Translations in Brno, Czech Republic, where he gained skills with CAT tools, quality assurance, terminology, style guides and project management. He joined Moravia in 2006, and since relocating to Seattle in 2009, he has used his experience in account management and operations to deliver localization services to top technology companies.
Soukenik is currently an executive director at Webhelp, focusing on content, trust and safety services. He is an instructor for UW Professional & Continuing Education's Certificate in Localization: Customizing Software for the World, and in 2022 he was awarded an Instructional Excellence Award. In his spare time, he volunteers by teaching chess to seniors.
