Meet the Instructor
Russel D. Higley
Russel Higley has taught oceanography and marine biology at Highline College for more than two decades. He also runs the college’s Marine Science and Technology Center, an aquarium and marine lab that houses over 300 species from the Salish Sea. In addition, Higley is an environmental science instructor at UW Tacoma. He holds a master's degree in marine affairs from the University of Washington.
