Meet the Instructors
Stanley Yao
Stanley Yao is an engineering manager of AI Infra at Facebook, where he focuses on building large scale data reading and processing systems for Machine Learning. He earned his bachelor's in computer science from Nankai University in China and his master's in computer science from the University of Arizona. Before joining Facebook, he worked for companies like Amazon and Microsoft.
Through his career in the software industry, Yao has worked as a full stack software engineer, program manager and engineering manager. His passion for end-to-end involvement in software product development motivated him to obtain an MBA from Seattle University while working full time. Equipped with his knowledge from business school, he proposed and delivered multiple new software product and service initiatives, from ideation to market. Yao enjoys solving real-world problems with emerging software technologies.
