Vinay Prabhushankar

Engineering Manager, Product Security, Snapchat

Vinay Prabhushankar is a cybersecurity leader with more than a decade of experience securing cloud platforms and applications. Currently, he leads product security at Snapchat, where he oversees the company's industry-leading bug bounty program and the security integration of mergers and acquisitions. He’s held similar roles at Microsoft and Splunk, managing security for large-scale cloud infrastructures.

In his teaching, Prabhushankar blends deep hands-on technical expertise with strategic insights, preparing students to effectively tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges and communicate solutions to organizational leadership. He earned a master’s degree in cybersecurity engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
