About the Speaker

Andi Tosch

A full-time staff technical writer and editor at a large cloud-based software company, Andi Tosch has more than 15 years of experience crafting corporate communications and technical documentation. She began her communications career as a policy analyst and program manager at Microsoft, following seven years as a freelance technical writer, creating and editing documentation for a variety of technical clients. 

Andi is a lifelong learner who's passionate about the accessibility and reach that online learning can afford students. She currently is an instructor for the UW Certificate in Editing and the developer and instructor of the new Business Writing Foundations course and in 2019 was honored with a Teaching Excellence Award for commitment to teaching and learning as part of the instructional team for the UW Certificate in Editing.
