Together, they’ll explore what skills are in demand, what challenges to expect and how to navigate the shift from other sectors into mission-driven work.

Panelists:

Julie Bianchi

Julie Bianchi is a fundraising strategist, educator and Certified Fundraising Executive with deep experience across nonprofit sectors. She brings a decade of campaign leadership, with fundraising goals ranging from $1 million to $300 million, and focuses on aligning big-picture vision with practical fundraising strategy. Julie teaches the UW Certificate in Fundraising Management, the UW Specialization in Grant Writing and the Master of Nonprofit Leadership program at Seattle University.

Anne Mace

Anne Mace Deines is the chief financial officer at Public Health Advocates, where she leads finance, administration and HR, managing a range of public and private funding streams. With more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, Anne specializes in building backend systems that support organizational growth. She teaches the UW Specialization in Grant Management and the UW Specialization in Budgeting & Finance for Nonprofits. She holds an MBA with a specialization in accounting.

Sara Levin

Sara Levin is the founder of Ardea Strategies and a longtime nonprofit and public sector leader in Seattle. She previously served as chief impact officer at United Way of King County and worked in the City of Seattle’s Budget Office and Human Services Department. She now brings her strategic planning and facilitation expertise to consulting and teaching. Sara teaches the UW Certificate in Nonprofit Management and serves as a distinguished practitioner at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance.
