Register-Only & Application Programs
Registering for a Program or Course
Most UWPCE programs and courses do not require an application. You just need to register to enroll. When registration is open, you’ll find a Register button on the program or course page.
Registration Deadlines
Registration closes seven days before the first class meeting for noncredit courses (two days before for credit courses). The registration deadline appears on the program or course page when applications are open.
Applying to a Program or Course
Some UWPCE certificate programs and courses require an application. When applications are open, you can find instructions on how to apply by clicking on the Apply button on the program or course page.
For many application programs, you’ll need to upload supplemental materials like a resume and personal statement or complete a skills assessment when you apply.
Application Deadlines
In general, applications are accepted until two weeks before the first class meeting. A few programs may have an earlier deadline.
The application deadline appears on the program or course page when applications are open.
Review & Admissions Decisions
Most programs and courses have a rolling application process, which means that applications are reviewed in the order they’re received. You’ll be notified if you’ve been accepted, or not accepted within one to two weeks of submitting your application.
Some programs have a single application review. In that case, applications are reviewed all at once after the application deadline.
After you’re accepted, you’ll need to register for the first course. Don’t delay; registration closes seven days before the start of class, and spots may fill up quickly.
Waitlists
When a course section is full, you can join a waitlist. If a spot opens, you’ll be contacted to register. You’ll have 24 hours to register once you’re notified.
If nothing opens on the waitlist, you can register the next time the course is offered.
